OUR STORY

Why We Created Lupa Trails

The Guatemala we love isn't found only in famous landmarks. It's discovered while sharing stories around a kitchen table, walking through mountain villages, learning from local guides, visiting family-run coffee farms, and experiencing traditions that have been passed from one generation to the next. After more than two decades exploring Guatemala from volcano summits to remote communities, we created Lupa Trails to share this deeper side of the country with others. Every journey begins with a conversation. Rather than offering fixed itineraries, we take the time to understand what inspires you, then thoughtfully design experiences around your interests, your pace, and your curiosity. Because the most memorable trips aren't measured by the number of places you visit - they're defined by the people you meet, the stories you hear, and the connections you bring home.
